About Radio NUG

Radio NUG and Public Voice TV were founded under the guidance of the National Unity Government’s Ministry of Communications, Information & Technology.

Mission

• To support Myanmar Spring Revolution until the victory is achieved

• To Represent the voice of the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH)

• To Represent the voice of the National Unity Government (NUG)

• To support founding of Myanmar Federal Democracy Union

Vision

• With Multimedia Tools, to provide news & information that bring people towards building Federal Democracy Union

• Using Air-Waves, Internet, Satellite Technology and Any Communication Means, to communicate and deliver our programs and messages to Myanmar People without any disconnect and disturbance

• With collaboration and cooperation among Myanmar local and abroad, to build and share resources to empower creativity, innovation and practice on freedom of Rights, Press and Expression.

What we have done so far

1. Established Radio NUG Department in August 2021

2. Setup Podcasting Channels, Social Media Presence and YouTube Channels

3. Content sharing and posting with Public Voice TV, online TV Channel run by NUG

4. Broadcasting Shortwave Radio Programs in 2x30 minutes 8AM & 8PM daily

5. Online broadcasting live programs through internet on social media channels, YouTube and Podcast Channels

6. Creating and Presenting Interview and Contents about NUG, CRPH works, opinion and progress

7. Recruit CDM staffs and volunteer professionals and activists to work in Radio Department

8. Fundraise from Myanmar community abroad to pay broadcasting fees and other services’ fee to respective Service Providers

9. Establish branches such as Reporting, Production, Presentation, Pod & News castings, News Room, Programming and Broadcasting under Radio NUG Department and growing with volunteers, supporters and training sessions among team

10. Since 2022 Jan, start to broadcast program in Ethnic language such as Chin in 4 dialects and Karen in 3 dialects.

11. Publish online twice a day - Daily Newsletter of news broadcasted in airwaves.

12. Publish online daily press releases compilation from NUG Ministries.
